Namecheap is one of the most popular domain name providers, and they are the prevalent cause of affordability and the lowest prices compared to the others. Namecheap provides different kinds of internet services like web hosting, email hosting, VPN, SSL, and more.
If you are looking for affordable and easy to manage WordPress hosting and don’t know where to get this type of web hosting? Then Namecheap EasyWP might be an option for your WordPress hosting.
Namecheap EasyWP is one of the known cheapest managed WordPress hostings. And Namecheap claims EasyWP has many good things compared to others. So we are going to check out these in this review article.
Pricing and Plans of EasyWP Managed WordPress Hosting
As you can see in the image above, Namecheap has three different plans and pricing. According to the official website of Namecheap, they have been mentioned that their pricing is the cheapest compared to the market’s big competitors like Bluehost, GoDaddy, and WP Engine.
So, I have visited all the competitor websites and saw the pricing with the features they provide with it. If you see yourself by visiting the Bluehost and WP Engine websites, you can see the differences in pricing.
Defienelty, these big companies charge more than double in comparison to the Namecheap EasyWP, but they are also proving best-in-class features, like all these competitors providing premium CDN for high performance and optimization.
And if we talk about especially the WP Engine, they also provide Genesis Framework, including 30+ Studiopress premium themes.
In my opinion, Namecheap EasyWP pricing is reasonable but not great in terms of features. EasyWP doesn’t provide any CDN services for the base plan, even if you sign up for the Namecheap Supersonic CDN (free), which is not compatible with the EasyWP base plan.
If you are a beginner and have a very tight budget, you can purchase EasyWP-managed WordPress hosting.
EasyWP Starter
EasyWP Starter is the base plan of Namecheap EasyWP and comes with basic features at $3.88 per month.
EasyWP Turbo
EasyWP Turbo is the best choice plan according to Namecheap, and this plan starts at $7.88 per month.
EasyWP Supersonic
EasyWP Supersonic is the expensive managed WordPress hosting in the Namecheap platform. This plan’s pricing starts at $11.88 per month.

Namecheap is a well-liked domain and hosting provider known for its affordable pricing. And I also love their services and support, but I have been using Namecheap EasyWP managed web hosting for WordPress since march 2022.
Their claims on EasyWP performance are pretty close, and most of their claims are correct, but I had some issues during my testing.
The first and most frustrating issue was, connecting a third-party domain name to EasyWP hosting. In case you have a domain name on a third-party provider like Hostinger or GoDaddy, you have to set up the Free DNS of Namecheap, then you can connect the domain name. I faced other minor issues like you can’t install caching plugins, like WP Rocket, W3Total, and others.
By the way, except for these issues, I have liked EasyWP’s performance and pricing. In case you have a better budget then, I suggest you take Nexcess Managed WordPress hosting.
Performance of EasyWP
EasyWP managed WordPress hosting performance was exceptional when we installed the WordPress website. But after adding content and plugins or themes, performance drops up to 20 percent, and that is a disaster.
In that case, if you want to install an optimization plugin like WP Rocket, but you can’t. Namecheap disabled the feature.
Before Adding Content – Fresh WordPress
After Customizing Theme and Updating Content
I have installed a premium theme Kadence, and this theme is very lightweight and highly customizable.
After installing the Kadence, I have customized the theme and updated some content, even install a recipe plugin, and now you can see the post customization speed test result.
As you can see in the image, the speed test shows three main opportunities first is render-blocking resources, the second is image formats, and the third one is server response time (TTFB).
And these three badly affect site performance and impact SEO. Recently Google released an update about Page Experience, and you can see the reports on the Search Console dashboard. If your site has any performance experience issues, you should resolve them.
By the way, I was trying to install the W3Total Cache plugin in the EasyWP, but sadly Namecheap has disabled the feature, and you can’t optimize any external resources on your own.
Conclusion: Should You Buy EasyWP Managed WordPress Hosting?
Namecheap is one of the best domain and hosting providers, and as their claim, EasyWP is one of the best affordable managed WordPress hostings.
Need the best performing, fastest Managed WordPress hosting, then you must check out Nexcess by Liquid Web. It is one of the fastest WordPress hostings and it can handle huge traffic requests at once. Liquid Web provides Autoscaling, Edge Caching CDN powered by KeyCDN, Stagging environment for Development.
And if you have a budget to get Cloud Hosting then I won’t suggest you go with AWS or Google Cloud, because you have to manage yourself everything. But you can check out Cloudways, it provides managed cloud services from multiple Cloud Platforms, and gives you the best possible WordPress performance without optimizing by yourself.
Namecheap EasyWP, if you buy for the whole year, then you will get a 65% discount on the first year, which is a good thing.
The rest is up to you to choose which web hosting you have, and there are more hosting providers in the market that provide better performance than EasyWP at affordable prices.
